Members and Friends of First Presbyterian Church,

We are continuing to monitor the situation concerning COVID-19 and have made additional changes based upon local, state, federal guidelines as well as the CDC and the WHO. Based upon the direction and recommendations from State, Federal Government and the CDC we have been asked to not gather in places with more than 10 people.

Effective today the Church has closed all access and postponed or cancelled all scheduled meetings and activities.

Starting Sunday morning March 22 at 10:30 AM the Sunday Morning Church service will be available via a live stream broadcast here on our Church website.

Click on "Sunday Church Service Live" on the banner at the top of this home page and you will be able to watch the live feed service from Pastor Stephens. The "Live Stream" from each Sunday service will remain on the website until Wednesday if your were unable to Wasatch the Sunday Service Live. On Thursday it will be removed in preparation for the next Sunday Service on March 29, 2020. This process will continue until further notice.

On another note the number of cases in the U.S continues to grow with the likelihood that we have not reached the peak of the curve. In TN 48 hours ago we had 18 confirmed cases of corona-virus. As of 4:00 PM Wednesday afternoon the number of confirmed cases is now 98. Williamson County and Davidson County account for 82 of the 98 confirmed cases. There have been no reported cases in Coffee or Moore County. However, this does not mean that the virus will not affect anyone in our congratulation or our community as the virus continues to spread.

We encourage those who develop serious complications from COVID-19 to take the needed precautions to ensure their overall health. And all of us, of course, are also encouraged to wash our hands often and thoroughly. And if you should not feel well, stay home.

Additionally, if you wish to send your Sunday Donation/Pledge please clink on Online Giving link on the ribbon at the top of this home page. You have the option to make a one time Donation/Pledge or to make scheduled Donations/Pledges until we all get back to some normalcy in our life.

Peace and we will continue to be in touch.

Stephen

Welcome

The First Presbyterian Church is a busy place. Yet amid all the activities going on, our focus remains on serving God through worship, education, outreach, and fellowship. We also enjoy having fun and believe that God delights in our laughter no less than in our prayers. We value innovation as well as tradition, and with a healthy mix of both ingredients seek to grow in love, faith, and understanding.

Prayer Of The Week

ISAIAH 41:10,13

10 "Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

13 For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’
