Stephen is a  graduate of Albion College, Vanderbilt Divinity School, and Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. He enjoys reading, playing guitar poorly, riding his motorcycle when time permits, cooking, exercising, and refereeing soccer games (at least most of the time!).   

​

He is married to Audrey, an adviser at MTSU in the College of Media and Entertainment. They have two sons, Jonah and Luke.

​

He has served churches in Rockwood, TN, Destin, FL, and has been at FPC Tullahoma since August of 2013.

The First Presbyterian Church is a busy place. Yet amid all the activities going on, our focus remains on serving God through worship, education, outreach, and fellowship. We also enjoy having fun and believe that God delights in our laughter no less than in our prayers. We value innovation as well as tradition, and with a healthy mix of both ingredients seek to grow in love, faith, and understanding.

Learning Place Preschool

The Learning Place Preschool is a Christian program based on a balanced sequential curriculum. where concepts are introduced and built upon existing skills.  Children are placed in classes appropriate with their chronological age and development.  All levels will include language, numbers, stories, music, science, creative play, art, playground fun, and special units.  The Learning Place integrates a Christian preschool curriculum with the academic program.  In all of our classes the emphasis is on individual learning in a relaxed, enjoyable small group.

If you are a youth in Middle School or High School we will be Wednesday February 3rd 5:30 - 6:30 pm for a PYC Open House.
